1. Operator and agreement
CVidence is operated by Carl-Johan Mokdessi Elias, an individual operator based in Stockholm, Sweden. Postal address: Snickerigatan 12, 126 26 Hägersten, Sweden. Email: support@cvidence.com.
These terms apply when you create an account or use the CVidence mobile or web service. The Privacy Notice explains personal-data handling. If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an account or use the service.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live. If you are under 18, use CVidence only with the approval of a parent or legal guardian. The service is not directed to children under 16.
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure, and notify support promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account. One account is for one person's own job search and may not be shared.
3. What CVidence does
CVidence lets you build or import a professional profile, compare documented experience with job requirements, review evidence-based results, prepare CV versions, export documents, and track applications. CVidence does not apply for jobs, contact employers, or make recruitment decisions for you.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. A fit score is not an employer's ATS score and does not predict a hiring outcome. Review every requirement, quotation, translation, suggested edit, and exported document before relying on or submitting it.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you provide. You give CVidence a limited, worldwide licence to host, copy, format, process, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to short operational and backup retention described in the Privacy Notice.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate and that you have the right to use it. Do not upload unlawful material, malware, confidential employer information you are not permitted to use, or unnecessary sensitive or third-party personal data. CVidence may remove content or restrict processing where reasonably necessary for security, law, or these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- misrepresent experience, identity, qualifications, or authority;
- use the service to harm, deceive, discriminate against, surveil, or make decisions about another person;
- probe or bypass security, access another account, disrupt the service, or upload malicious files;
- scrape, automate, resell, or share access, including bulk use of the Unlimited plan;
- reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use CVidence or its output in violation of law, intellectual-property rights, job-site terms, or third-party rights.
6. Plans, trials, and payment
Available plans, included usage, exact local price, tax, trial eligibility, renewal date, and seller are shown before purchase. Essential and Unlimited are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. A seven-day trial may be offered to eligible new subscribers; returning customers may be offered a no-trial purchase path.
Mobile purchases are billed and managed by Apple or Google. Web purchases are planned to be sold by Paddle as merchant of record. The seller's checkout, payment, cancellation, and refund terms also apply. Cancel through the store or seller shown for the subscription. Deleting the CVidence account does not automatically cancel an external store subscription, and cancelling a subscription does not delete the account.
After a paid period ends, you may retain read and download access to existing work as described in the product, but new paid operations require an active entitlement. Usage allowances reset by billing period and unused allowance does not roll over. “Unlimited” means no stated monthly count for normal individual job-search use; fair-use, security, and technical limits still apply.
Nothing in these terms limits refund, withdrawal, conformity, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Requests are handled by the seller and under applicable law.
7. Service and changes
CVidence may change features to improve safety, reliability, lawfulness, or usefulness. Material changes that negatively affect an active paid subscription will be communicated where reasonably possible. Temporary interruption may occur for maintenance, provider failures, security incidents, or events beyond reasonable control.
CVidence may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breach, security risk, fraud, unlawful use, or non-payment. Where practical, you will receive notice and an opportunity to export data unless doing so would create risk or violate law. You may stop using CVidence and delete your account at any time.
8. Intellectual property
The CVidence software, branding, design, and service content are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership of CVidence or third-party technology.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
CVidence is a job-search support tool, not legal, immigration, financial, recruitment, or career-placement advice. You remain responsible for applications, statements to employers, deadlines, eligibility, and decisions based on the service.
To the extent permitted by law, CVidence is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or a particular employment outcome. CVidence is responsible for direct loss caused by breach of these terms where the law requires it, but is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss caused by inaccurate user content, or third-party services outside reasonable control. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.
10. Governing law and disputes
Swedish law governs these terms, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protection in the country where you live. Contact support@cvidence.com first so there is a fair chance to resolve a complaint. Consumers in Sweden may also contact Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN). A dispute may be brought before a competent court under applicable consumer-protection rules.
11. Changes to these terms
The version and effective date appear at the top. Material changes will be explained in the app or by email where appropriate. If a change requires renewed agreement, CVidence will ask for it before the change applies.
